Requirements to Check Post Office Account Balance

There are a total of 6 methods to check post office account balance, Let’s read about each in detail.
Method 1 – SMS Banking to Check Account Balance
- Type ‘REGISTER’ in the SMS app and send it to 7738062873 from the registered mobile number.

- After registration on SMS Banking service, check the balance by sending ‘BAL’ to 7738062873.

Method 2 – Missed Call Service to Check Bank Balance
- From the registered mobile number, give a missed call on 8424054994 to register for missed call banking service.

- Then give a missed call to 8424046556.

- The registered mobile number will receive an SMS with the account balance.
- Similarly to check the Mini-statement give a missed call on 8424026886.

Method 3 – Mobile Application to Check Post Office Bank Balance
- Download the IPPB mobile banking application.

- Enter the account number, CIF number, Date of Birth, and mobile number to register on the application.

- An OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number, enter the OTP to verify the number.
- After registration, set MPIN to log in to the application.

- The account balance will be available on the Dashboard.

Method 4 – Phone Banking to Check Post Office Bank Balance
- From the registered mobile number dial the toll-free banking number 155299 and follow the IVRs instructions.

- Select the preferred language.
- Select the account balance and hear the balance in the account.
Method 5 – Post Office Card to Check Account Balance
- Scan the QR Code printed in Post Office Card.
- An OTP will appear in the registered mobile, number enter the OTP.
- Fill in the OVD verification.
- The account balance will appear in the phone.
Method 6 – UPI App to Check Account Balance
- An ATM card is required for this method.
- Download the UPI application.
- Register into the application using mobile number and ATM card details.
- After registration, click on ‘Check Balance’ option.
- After entering UPI PIN, post office account balance will appear on the screen.
